Conditions of participation - Thirst for knowledge competition

1. general

These are the general conditions of participation (hereinafter referred to as “Conditions of Participation”) for the “Knowledge Quiz” competition (hereinafter referred to as “the Competition”) organized by the CLAVEY Group of Companies (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”).
By participating in the competition, participants expressly accept these Terms and Conditions of Participation.

2. eligibility to participate

All natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and are resident in Germany are eligible to participate.
Employees and family members of the organizer as well as their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies are excluded from participation.

3. competition period

The competition starts on May 01, 2024 at 0:01 a.m. and ends on November 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

4. participation

Participation takes place by answering/completing the four question blocks on the landing page wissendurst.clavey.eu.
Die Landingpage erreicht man über den QR Code oder Wissenskarten oder via the competition bubble on the organizer’s website www.clavey.eu.

5. notification of winnings

The winners will be selected at random and notified by telephone, e-mail or post.
Winners must confirm their win within seven days of notification.
Otherwise, the organizer reserves the right to draw a new winner.

6. profits

  • 1st-5th prize | Meet the Family (January 2025)

    No prize like any other!
    A wonderful evening with all generations of the CLAVEY family.
    You come to Braunschweig with your partner to an extraordinary location.
    At a long table, you will not only get to know the CLAVEY family, but also enjoy selected food and drinks.
    You are our guests for the evening, which we promise will be very entertaining!
    Of course you are also invited to travel (DB/2nd class or mileage allowance) and to stay overnight including breakfast.

  • 6th place | Meet us in Emden (date in 2025 by arrangement)

    The other weekend trip
    We are represented with our company in exciting places.
    Here, right on the coast in the Matjes region.
    Friday you can meet the team on site, Saturday is yours and your partner’s and on Sunday it’s back home.
    (2 nights/breakfast and travel expenses reimbursed)
  • 7th place | Meet us in Ingolstadt (date in 2025 by arrangement)

    The other weekend trip
    We are not only high up in the north, but also in the middle of Bavaria.
    Friday you can meet the team on site, Saturday is yours and your partner’s and on Sunday it’s back home.
    (2 nights/breakfast and travel expenses reimbursed)
  • 8th place | Meet us in Leipzig (date in 2025 by arrangement)

    The other weekend trip
    One of the most beautiful cities in Saxony is Leipzig.
    Of course, you can find us here too.
    Friday you can meet the team on site, Saturday is yours and your partner’s and on Sunday it’s back home.

    (2 nights/breakfast and reimbursement of travel expenses)

Cash payment of prizes and exchange of prizes are excluded

7. data protection

The organizer collects and processes the personal data of the participants exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition.
The data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to run the competition.

8. liability

The organizer is not liable for damages that may arise due to errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of the technical equipment and service, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or in any other way during participation in the competition, unless such damages are due to gross negligence or intent on the part of the organizer.

9. other

Legal recourse is excluded.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

11. severability clause

Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be invalid or unenforceable or become invalid or unenforceable after the start of participation, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation.
The invalid or unenforceable provisions shall be replaced by suitable provisions that come as close as possible to the purpose of the invalid or unenforceable provisions.
